Casino Promo Codes: When They Matter and When They Don't
Promo codes look like the key to a better deal, but on most modern casino sites the offer is already attached to the link you arrive on. Knowing the difference protects you from missing a bonus you were entitled to.
Codes versus tracked links
Many operators now attribute offers through the referral link itself. If you follow a tracked link, the bonus is applied automatically and any code field can stay empty.
Other operators still require a typed code at registration or at first deposit. Where a code is required, it appears on the casino's own signup form and on our listing card.
Rules that catch people out
- Codes are almost always case-sensitive and must be entered before the deposit is confirmed.
- A code can usually only be applied once per account, and support cannot always add it retroactively.
- Entering a second code can overwrite the first, replacing a better offer with a worse one.
- Some codes are region-specific and silently fail outside the licensed state or province.
Before you hit deposit
